Exhibition-spaces are major hubs in the project.

Localized installations may support interactivity beyond mouse&keyboard, which is otherwise not be available to the remote artist.

The exhibition "hooks into" the feed of projects, display artworks with their meta-information data-flow and tells information about the involved artists.

To complete the circle of communication and thought, presentation-spaces supplement the exhibition with workshops for artists, hack-spots or feedback devices;
they do not necessarily need to be connected to the artwork(s) on display. We rather envisage a spiral than communication loop. Presentation takes information away from InOut, which needs to be fed into the network again, and thus making exhibitions creative hot-spots.

The previous exhibition connected Artists all over France with workshops at five different locations all over the country during ten days. It was preceded by a 7day [[:inout:gallery#workshop_in_nancy_-_april_2008|workshop in Nancy]] which was the main preparation for of projects shown during the exhibition. 

The next step is to extend the range, diversity and time. Adding a video-archive will offer the possibility for offline-creation and later screening, bridging time-zones with the added value of an automatic portfolio of contributions.
